Another year approaches and I’ve again deleted everything from this space.
Which means that it’s about that time for me to make a brief introduction of who I am, what I’m about, and what this space is going to potentially be used for in the upcoming year.
I’m Rachel; Rae for short. I’m an avid reader, MLIS candidate (graduating April 2020), library enthusiast, medieval history fan, and nature lover. I’m the type of person who has a million ideas of what they want to do, but gets caught up in the idea of having to execute those ideas perfectly – which is something that I’m definitely trying to change in 2020.
My idea for this space is for it to be a bookish lifestyle blog. I’ve come to realize that in the past I’ve gotten too caught up in making this space as specific as possible and that I ended up not posting the majority of the things that I wanted to post because they seemed too “off topic”. Now I have a better idea of what I want to do with this space and more of a sense of purpose in what it is that I want to promote about myself and the things that I love.
I’m not going to make any grand promises of what you’ll see in this space because that’s gotten me caught up in the past. I’m going to do a cliffhanger type of thing and just ask for you to stay tuned, and to occasionally visit back to see what’s going on.
So, cheers to the holiday season and cheers to the beginning of new beginnings.
